Beginning in 2009, NDNY adopted a rolling membership system; previously we followed a calendar dues cycle. Annually, prior to the anniversary of your last dues payment, dues paying members will receive an email that will be a reminder to pay dues for the next membership year. Your continuing support enables the club to provide a wide range of events and services for the benefit of the Notre Dame community. Club activities planned for this year include:
• Scholarship aid for local students
• Universal Notre Dame Night and Hesburgh Lectures, featuring ND representatives
• NDNY Bookstore Basketball Tournament
• NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade – March up 5th Avenue
• Football game watches, including food and drink specials
• Quarterly networking events
• Community service opportunities with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Central Park Conservatory, Lower East Side Girls Club, and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
• Mass gatherings
• Summer Service Learning Program (supporting four students at local service sites)
• Welcome BBQ for interns and others who are new to the city
• Activities of the Alumni Schools Committee, including the Student Send-off
• Emails/website
You have the opportunity to sign up as a Gold, Green, or Blue member - Gold members will receive 4 chances in the lotteries mentioned below; Blue members 2, and Green members 1. As a club member, you will be entitled to:
• Chances to buy 2 tickets to the 2010 Stanford game in the club's lottery
• Chances to win free food/drink bracelets at game watches
